How It Works
Vibe Sheets is a client-side tool that leverages your Google Account to create a powerful backend for your projects. Here’s the magic:
- Authenticate: Securely log in with your Google account.
- Create Sheet: With one click, the app generates a new Google Sheet configured as a database.
- Deploy API: It automatically creates and deploys a Google Apps Script, exposing a secure API endpoint (URL) for your sheet.
- Use Your API: You get a ready-to-use REST API to perform CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations on your spreadsheet data.
Why We Need Your Permission
To create and manage your database sheet, Vibe Sheets requires permission to access specific parts of your Google Account. We are transparent about what we use:
- Google Spreadsheets: To create and modify the sheets that will act as your database.
- Google Apps Script: To create the script that powers your API.
- Google Drive: To manage the files created by the app and ensure everything is stored securely in your own Drive.
